Another Extended Visit to Andalucia and Nerja - and Other Things!.

  • Good Morning to all of you in the sunshine land of Andalucia.

We had another lovely time last November and December but unfortunately we were not able to connect with anyone, especially you Louisa. perhaps next time? We were lucky enough to be able to re-visit Ronda and the wonderful area around the gorge. As we had been into the old part twice before, I elected to give that a miss and stroll around by myself for a while and savour the atmosphere. The terrace cafe at the San Jorge hotel, across the road from the Parador, is actually built into the side of rock and is reached by a lift which takes you two floors down. From there I had a view from the other side of the bridge and the vista through the arches.

The Reps in the hotel also arranged an extra trip to Cordoba which we couldn't miss. What an amazing place and the Mosque-Cathedral! Well! You have to see it to understand. I was enchanted by the numerous heavily laden orange trees in the Orange Courtyard and the narrow streets and alleyways in the old quarter.

I have written two posts in Rosalie's Chatter with photographs. There is also one about our visit to Galicia in June ,as well as a lot on Andalucia in ORANGES: A Journey my debut fiction story which is built on a dream.

Last week I was guest on local radio CalonFM (it is Welsh) Talking Business with Tracy Jones (on the right in the photo). You can listen again for a few more days here. I talk about my travel stories as well as my the reasons behind my personal development books.

In my last post I mentioned that I was writing a self-help/how to book on speaking in public and to groups from short talks to more in-depth presentations and even a training /briefing session. Talking the Talk went live on January 1st in print and eBook formats (Kindle,Apple,Adobe *pdf etc). More here on Amazon Don't forget that you can download a Kindle App for iPad, PC and Android. All images are in colour in eBook and the local bookshops should be able to order from their wholesalers. Both Gardners and Bertrams are international.

I don't have plans for anymore Lifelong Learning:Personal Effectiveness Guides at present. I am back to concentrating on travel. Below is a view at sunset from our hotel balcony. Marinas de Nerja. You are so lucky to have this all the time but the memories help to keep us warm in winter!

I love the weekly updates from Ali. Thank you for allowing me to share in your lives in sunny Spain.

    Hasta la Vista!
