Event Info

Event Details

  • After 100 years of women being allowed to vote, they are still being murdered in their own homes. They still are paid less, have smaller pensions and struggle every day with being stereotyped. What can be done about it today? Now!
At the launch of EUW (European Union of Women) Marina Alta branch, with the President of the Organisation founded in 1953, Margaret Hales, relative of British suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst, history will meet the future. Come and find out why one of the oldest organisations representing the women of Europe is attracting the young of today.
