Three years later one of these ships returned after having circumnavigated the earth for the first time. As Magellan had died during the voyage, the expedition was now under the command of the Spanish sailor de Elcano. The lecturer, Manuel Parodi is a historian and archeologist with a focus on northern Morocco and southern Spain.
