If you cancel your mobile phone contract and have to pay a cancellation fee, this should not be subject to sales tax (21%). Spanish consumer organization Facua is currently challenging companies regarding this illegal practice.


Check the ingredients! Mercadona has claimed that it accidently used old packaging for frozen battered squid (calamares) for a product which actually contained “pota”. Although very similar, pota is cheaper (and harder) than squid. Not exactly the horse meat scandal but…
