Meet Lissy Bösl who found her blue skies and positive energy on the Costa Tropical. From wellbeing and creativity to her dream of Finca Pura Vida, she inspires us to live lighter and brighter every day.
Read her story.
Why Spain?
Because the sky is more blue over here. And for me colours and light an elixir of life.
And where are you now?
I live in La Herradura. It is the perfect mix of great outdoors, beach vibes and good energy. I love that there is a multi-cultural community,
Cerro Gordo National Park right around the corner and tropical fruits like Mangos growing here.

What was the biggest challenge for your move?
Finding the right place. Because Spain is big and different at every corner.
So glad after 3 winters of traveling through Spain, we found the Costa Tropical and the vibe was just there.
Do you have any advice for Women thinking about making the move?
If Spain is calling you, my tip is: Take time to explore and to listen to your heart, to find your place in this beautiful country.
What is the focus of your days?
I love the life and to be alive. And I wish for everyone to feel the same.
I have a background in hospitality and love to create magic spaces and magic moments but my current profession is wellbeing and bodywork which I will soon do in Spain. I give therapeutic massages, teach releasing yoga and do wellbeing guidance and treatments.
Further, I travel a lot and lived in many countries before I lost my heart in Spain. I love being in nature and dream of my own Finca with a big garden, being active is a big thing for me, I love to move and grow.
I bake with sourdough, do little art projects like ceramics, watercolour and sewing and just love to express myself everyday.
My idea is to create little creative wellbeing day retreats for busy people.

What is something spectacular you would like to achieve in just one day?
Creating Finca Pura Vida where people can meet to find back to there best life through wellbeing, creativity & nature.
Something you are grateful for?
I am grateful and proud that I have always followed my heart which led me to so many unique experiences.
Who would be at your special dinner party?
Marc Aurelius, because he already knew times ago, how important it is to not to focus on things we can’t change.
Control what you can, accept what you cannot
Reinhold Messner because I am impressed by his art of living
Claudia Obers, a German Entrepreneur who just loves live and is so funny.
What’s your secret weapon or accomplishment?
My own sunshine / positive mind.

What advice do you live by?
Stay hungry. stay foolish. A quote by Steve Jobs, I have it as tattoo on my foot. Because I love to explore and learn every day and not taking myself too serious helps to have a lighter life
One thing you had to bring to Spain and could never give away?
Even in our camper we carried our Cafelat Robot, a machine for real great Espresso. Life is too short to have bad coffee! Serious 🙂
Do you have a favourite book?
So many books that changed my life. But I love Robert A Heinleins Stranger in a Strange Land very much.
Something you would tell your younger self?
]You are more than enough. You doing great!
