This year has not been the best for me, especially not since the latter part of the year, but still life goes on and we deal with everything that falls in our path the best way we know how.
This year I started an interesting project where I decided to collate and put together a book incorporating fiction and non-fiction content together for Costa Women, giving members the opportunity to have their chapters included in this inspiring book. I received an excellent response to this initiative and a variety of different entries, including personal experiences, art, advice, spiritual intuition, illustrations and a general positive and uplifting sense has brought this book to life. Hopefully the book should be available in paperback and e-book by early 2013.
Overall even with the so-called uncertainty about the Mayan prophecy that the world may end on Friday 21st (tomorrow), regardless of whether it is true or not, the future will always be certain, whether in eternity after we become washed away by a tsunami, or become frozen following an ice-age, or if this prophecy becomes untrue and we grace Friday and all the days that follow as we have always done year after year.
I hope that next year will be better than this one…and although we have reached a very uncertain time in our lives due to greed and power, selfish morals and lack of value and respect, we still have the responsibility to greet each new day as it arises and make the best living conditions for our families and grasp the best opportunities for our future.
So I wish every member of Costa Women a very Merry Xmas and a wonderful and inspiring and hopeful and innovative New Year…Rashpal. xx
