Brand new section for Spain Buddy

The popular website has added a dedicated property section providing free advertising for private sellers and a cost-effective alternative for agents with multiple properties.

Spain February 2016: Since the launch of Spain Buddy in September of 2012 the site has seen a rapid growth in terms of content and users to the point that is now arguably be one of the best know and busiest English speaking sites covering general Spain information for both residents and visitors.

Spain Buddy intends to build on its growth with the recent addition of a property portal catering to users looking to buy property or rent long-term. Already the site has more than 30 thousand properties available for viewing with thousands more to be added soon.

Advertising is free to owners and agents who add their own properties manually to the site, and agents with multiple properties and an XML feed are being offered a highly competitively priced feed option. Until the website comes out of the beta, the cost is just €100 (+IVA) for up to 5000 properties

Elle Draper, co-owner of the site says; “Through our interactions with users and monitoring site traffic it became clear that there was a demand among our users for this type of service, it’s a natural progression for us” adding that “We’re very pleased with the growth of Spain Buddy in such a short time, we’ve gone from zero in 2012 to 678,650 visitors and 28,199,164 hits during 2015 and we’re expecting even more rapid growth this year with ever growing content and the new property section”.

Spain Buddy covers a broad range of subjects, pretty much anything to do with Spain ranging from recipes and humour to serious news and opinion. The website caters for both tourists and English speakers already living in the country as well as those seeking to make Spain their future home.

In addition to the regular content relating to food and drink, lifestyle and entertainment, travel information, history, news and opinion the site also features a free business directory, a ‘what’s on’ guide and a low cost option for advertising holiday rentals.
