A thought is never in the present. It is always in the past or in the future if only for a fraction of a second. If you want to connect to the present, you have to connect to something that exists in the here and now, namely your body. And the easiest way is to become aware of your own breath. So take a three minutes break, sit down and observe with 100% awareness your own breathing. This is meditation.
