Zen & the Art of Gibraltar Border Queuing
Have you ever been trappedin the Gibraltar Border Queue? My partner Dave was in July’s six-hour mega queue and kept his cool by going walkabout and discovering some sights he’d never seen before on Gibraltar’s less well-known East Side. Have you heard of Titty Rock? You can get a copy of a map and download a handy survival guide on my blog – http://belindabeckett.com/gibraltar-border-queue/  Do you have any funny Gibraltar Queue stories?   Have a good week! Good News, More Good News and Even Better News
Good News Friday saw the very successful launch of Someday Never Comes, the second in the D.I. Paolo Storey series. The book entered the genre charts Friday night and is holding its place at around number 50. I’m thrilled.     More Good News To celebrate the launch, the publishers have set the e-book at a special price of 77p/99c for this one week only. After Friday, Someday Never Comes will be on sale at the full price.     Even Better News The first in the D.I. Paolo Storey series, Bad Moon Rising, has also been reduced in price. Someday Never Comes Released Today
If you’re coming to the online launch of Someday Never Comes today (Friday 16th August) you might be interested in the plan for the festivities. If you’re not coming (why not?) the outline below might entice you to change your mind. Here’s the link, just in case you decide to drop in. You’re very welcome to do so, whether for a few minutes or a few hours: https://www.facebook.com/events/143137672553746/ There will be five quizzes, based around crime. The winner of each quiz will win an e-book version of Bad Moon Rising, or, if they already have Bad Moon Rising, an e-book version of Someday Never Comes. Even if you don’t win one of the five quizzes, you could still be in for a prize because the person who answers the most questions correctly over the course of the five quizzes will win a paperback copy of either Bad Moon Rising or Someday Never Comes – their choice. In between the crime quizzes there will be music questions, such as what line comes next and who first recorded songs that became hits for others. There won’t be any prizes for these questions, just the satisfaction of knowing you answered them before anyone else could! If you can’t make the party, but might like to read either book, they are available in both paperback and e-book versions. The links below are to the e-book versions on Amazon.co.uk, but they are available worldwide. My New Book Published!!
Some good news if you’d like to be inspired! I’m very happy to announce my book has been published on Amazon.com! ‘7 Steps to Awakening Your Amazing Self‘ is now available on Kindle at Amazon.com If you could give me a review it would be great! You can see more details on JoyFahey.com where you can also Download a FREE copy of Your Power Your Life. Here’s a little taster in the first chapter in 7 Steps Beliefs I think most of us at some point in time have asked this question Who Am I? And I think I can safely say that most of us now accept the premise that we are vibrational energy, or, as I like to say, absolute sentient power on the move. Everything in the universe is energy vibrating at different levels. As human beings we vibrate at a higher level than animals, plants, and material matter and have the capacity to distinguish this, most of the time!! We are amazing creatures with so many intriguing aspects, we think, we feel, we take action, our bodies function without us even having to think about it, basically we are magical beings. So what goes wrong, why do we tend to find ourselves in the everyday turmoil a lot of the time? If we function in such a miraculous way how come we tend to mess up and believe ourselves not to be miraculous? The answer is quite simple it’s our ‘beliefs’.  “Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.”Napoleon Hill  Where do these beliefs come from, why do we believe what we believe? That’s simple too, our parents and educators, our environment, our learned perceptions and our experiences with those perceptions.  Most of the time we tend to live in victim mode and don’t understand why things tend to go in the opposite direction to what we would like them to. We have to look at our history to start making sense of this. Let’s take a journey back in time to understand more……… If you would like any information how I got this published go to info@cutproductions.com
