I am sure you all agree. Women today have very busy lives, “women have always had busy lives” I hear you say, even in the old days.
But today it hasn’t changed that much, yes we have washing machines and vacuum cleaners, but many women have to work to pay a mortgage and keep children clothed and in good schools. Some women have an elderly family member to take care of or someone in their household with an illness.
Today, things cost more and the cost of living rises, but not always the paychecks.
So what happens every month? well “our auntie comes to visit” many women call it this, I used to call it Happy Days. There is no doubt that monthly periods are are “pain” or can be “a pain” for many women.
Period pains or cramps are very common in most women, it is estimated that 9 out of 10 women suffer from menstrual cramps each month and 6 of them need to rest or take time off work.
