We recently enjoyed a presentation from Cudeca – a Costa del Sol based hospice charity set up by Joan Hunt OBE. Joan’s own husband died through cancer and Joan was inspired to create the charity in 1991. The charity has since 1991:-
– cared for more than 9,000 patients since 1992
– given support to 800+ people from the Cudeca Centre
– opened 13 charity shops spread over the Costa del Sol area
